We look at your age because the rules all apply on your age. There are
requirements and advantages to win on each age.

So let’s start with cases when you’re
55-67. These are the cases you can most
likely win here. The older you get, the better your case. Get the most out of your life, and should be more money in Social Security. An appeal on your denial is a search for a better life.

Social Security will be your life line to get control as we prove your case. This is where I will collect all of your medical records and help you to know what is necessary for your case. Call us on these issues so we can move quickly on your case.

At ages
50-54, Social Security will often look to support your case with our work. As one has some age that limits, then the problems are to the normal days. Age is more likely to win and can prove the Social Security for you. Your case moves better when the rules give you a break to help you.

The next cases are for folks who are 18-49. These ages require more work and detail. When you call or write us, you will see your age is the first thing we need to know to plan helping you.

As your age is increasing from
40-49, there is some work to pass on to older
issues. The closer you are to 50, the closer Social Security will accept it. As a
practical matter, most Judges will accept someone 47-49 as a 50 year old if the facts show significant problems. But you will have to make sure I can move on that.

But overall,
41-49, I’m looking more precisely on what the doctor’s say about your medical problems and how this will work. (You don’t have to prove all these, but if you want to see the details look here:, and all it means, and/or the
Call me on any of this). This is a time to what facts we can use to qualify your
case. We have to make the medical care make your case count.
As for ages up to 17 are concerned, they are greatly added several ways. That is nothing I can add in this short case, so call us so we can see where the tough case is.

For any problems you have that keep you from working, call or write to us. Get what you deserve. Don’t delay so we can work up your case(s). Call us at

662- 328-9365, 205-342-3622 or 800-748-9673with any questionsor especially if you need our help.

For ages 55 to 64,  Tuscaloosa Social Security Disability Lawyer  to use the law to help your case

I'm with you on this. I'm 60. If a brain tumor had gone a different way a few years ago when I was 56, I would be using this rule myself. I know where you are. I thought I would  have to go to these rules myself. With a really good surgeon in Chicago and good follow-up care in Birmingham (the story of the Good Samaritan starts with somebody on the road needing help - like me), I can be a Social Security Disability lawyer in Tuscaloosa who can help you when you use Social Security disability law to help you.

The older we get, the harder it is to start over. Lose a job, skill or something you know how to do because of injury and illness and it's hard to find a new way to make a living. Social Security disability law says this is true but for the life of me, I have trouble understanding why the gnomes inside the back rooms who examine this case don't seem to understand this. I'm always seeing  folks denied when the Social Security disability law, rules and regulations say they are disabled when they are 55-64.

The best I can figure is training and orders for the folks who actually look at these cases. It's not Social Security Disability. It's a group called Disability Determination Services, DDS, which is part of the Alabama Department of Education. Every state has one of these working under Social Security and every one denies having a quota to accept and deny. Maybe I'm just a cynical old trial lawyer born on the wrong side of the tracks but if every state in the Union denies 70% of the folks who apply, give or take a few, then I have trouble buying that denial. Not to mention any bureaucrat is safe to say no and let the problem be kicked to someone else but they could get in trouble for granting disability by mistake. So, they deny the Social Security disability claim.

There is an answer to this. There is a way to use the rules so you can get disability insurance - yes insurance, you paid in when you worked. You are due under the law to be able to pay your bills and live with dignity. You are due to medical care whether it be medicaid or medicare or both to see doctors, therapists and hospitals for your problems that disable you. This is the life promised you when the government took money out of your paycheck. You are due your money now to live and have medical care. There is a better life promised  to you under the law when you meet Social Security disability standards.

For ages 55, 56,57,58, 59 on up to 64 here's the key standard for your Social Security disability lawyer to prove: 1) you cannot return to your past work, 2) you are confined to light work or less - say no repetitive lifting of 20 pounds, little standing or walking, and 3) you have no skills that transfer at all or without at least a fair amount of training. If you meet disability standards and these three things are true, you are disabled. Somebody 18-49 would not be disabled if these three are true but if you are 55,56,57,58, 59 on up to 64, you are disabled. Your lawyer can get in the weeds to prove the Social Security disability case  if the evidence can be found, mostly medical evidence. This is what Social Security disability lawyers like me do in Tuscaloosa.

If you think you meet these limits or you're not completely sure, I want you to call me at
662-328-9365 ( on a mobile phone hit the button up top). You can get me by email This is free. Any consultation on your case is free. So, you can call and my keepers will set up a phone or office appointment for you. If I can help and take the case, I will spend my time and money. If we lose you owe me nothing. If we win, the law and judges set the fee for every Social Security disability lawyer in Tuscaloosa or elsewhere at 25% of the back pay - not the monthly checks only back pay. You can pay me back after you're paid for any expenses like medical records but you don't owe me this if we lose.

There being no risk to you, Call now at
